Foreigndub’ are a collective of 3 djs brought together by the love of bass music, forming in 2004.All in all we are a group of DJs, musicians and promoters who organize events, make music and run our own label.

With supports to artists such as The Wailers, Dj Marky, Dj Patife, BigBud, Shapeshifter, Blue King Brown and festivals around Sydney, they melted their love of dub and dnb into one experience. With productions being forged from mental state to sine waves, ForeignDub’ have created their outtake on life and the soundscape they produce is a reflection of this. Collaborating with vocalist Rob DeMasi when performing live, they bring another element to the sound.

FOREIGNDUB are the cultivators of the infamous DNBBQ event from Sydney, that branched out to a National and New Zealand tour in late 2007, they have also promoted international artists, Big Bud, DJ Patife & Dj Marky. FOREIGNDUB have baked and fried two compilation CD’s over their 4 years of existence. The CD’s comprise of well known artists who have performed at their events: UK’s DnB Legend, BigBud, Lotek (UK), local DnB DJ’s such as Alf, Ritual, Semper-Fi, Kingwrasse (members of the bird and Resin Dogs), bands K-Oscillate (Melb), Budspells (AUS/NZ), Hermitude (Sydney), Rastawookie (Sydney), Miso (Melbourne) & many more.

The music at FOREIGNDUB events ranges from Dub, Jungle, Dubstep, HipHop, Funk, Reggae & Dancehall, to the full flavours of Drum n’ Bass. Packed full of beats and rhymes, this local label aims to distribute music of the same genres, with a global mindset. All releases will be in conjunction with quality events, which guarantee quality sound, visuals and lighting. Evolving the Bass community in Australia is the aim of directors Michael Foley & Patricio Ordenes. In turn evolving the opinion of Australian artists on their label to the international music scene.

Four new events has solidified Foreigndubs spread of tasty bass. Remedy a monthly residency at the UTS LOFt, every second friday of the month.
Also ‘Sole Food’ showcases the more melodic, soulful & deep sides of DnB. Infused with soul, reggae, jazz, & dub elements makes food for your feet. With special international guests.
Two other sporadic nights represent dub and reggae from Bondi – Foreigndub Sesh at Beach Rd Hotel, and Irie at Monavale Hotel.
